Hi Treats lovers!

My name is Nhung. Lit is my nickname growing up from my parents. I was born and grew up in Vietnam and moved to the States in 2021 when my new life chapter began. 

Growing up cooking was a big part of me but baking wasn’t until I came to the US where ovens are built in any kitchen (we didn’t have it in Vietnam back then, oven was luxury for most of families). During Covid time and I was new to the country with the oven at home, guess what? I baked! And before I know it, I fall in love with the smell of fresh loaves of bread, the taste of delicious homemade cookies and the beautiful light and soft cakes. 

End of 2021, luckily we got a house in East Cobb, Marietta, GA. End of 2022, I came back Vietnam for 2 months to take bakery class on cake decoration. 

Co Lit in Vietnamese means “Aunty Lit”.  The name of the bakery came after the event of my niece kept begging me to bake her a cake when I came to her house so she can brag with her classmates. After 2 days of begging, I finally made a cake without electric hand mixer, scale, or oven! Seeing her smile, I decided to pursue this happiness and want to share it with treats lovers. 

That is how Co Lit Bakery all began.
